OUTSTANDING SUCCESS
HAWKE’S JBAY SHOW 20,000 VISITORS YESTERDAY (Per Press Asamdatiop.) HASTINGS,-'.this: day. People’s Day at tho Hawko’s Bay Spring Show yesterday proved.' just :as successful as in previous yeafs, and was attended by about 20,000. The weather, which was dull in the’, morning, brightened in tho afternoon, -and altogether ideal conditions ruled. The number of oars present is Stated to have boon greater than in previous years, it being necessary to requisition an extra paddock for their;afccommodation. The greatest attraction of the day was tho parade i ll the oval of all prize animals, which was watched by a very largo portion of the crowd present. The exhibits, most 'of which 'were judged yesterday, were also closely inspected. In view of the conditions, tho show is regarded as having been an outstanding success. ____
