GUM-DIGGER'S DEATH
TALL OVER 200 FT. CLIFF (Per Press Association.) THAMES, this day. An inquest concerning the death of .lozo I/otich, who was found dead in the bush at the back of Thames on Sunday, was held before },]y. J. Glossing, J.P. The medical evidence showed (hat the deceased had a broken spine, a, fractured pelvis', and other wounds, including probably a fractured skull, evidently caused by a fall from a. great height.
Jzoticb, who wns a. gumdigger, was found at the foot of a 200 ft. cliff. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
A Dalmatian guindigger. Joze Izotich, 18, left his shanty on the Kauaercnga River on Saturday morning, reports a. Thames correspondent. As he did not return, a search party was organised, and his body was found in a gully about 20 miles inland from the Kauaerenga Hotel, between Daningi's Camp and Webber's Creek. It is presumed that he fell down a cliff, as bis head was buried in mud.
