BACK AT WORK

STRIKING RELIEF WORKERS (For Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Practically all those relief workers who went on strike last week as a protest against the new relief fates of pay had returned to work to-day. A warning was published on Saturday to the effect that, unless the men returned to work by to-day, they would have to stand down and reregister before becoming eligible for further employment. A great majority of the strikers availed themselves of the opportunity of returning to their jobs to-day without being penalised.
