COMPULSION ESSENTIAL (Received April 7,2 p.m.) VANCOUVER, April G. Urging support for compulsory wheat pool legislation in the Saskatchewan June plebiscite, Mr. A. J. McPhail, president of Hie Saskatchewan pool, declares that only a 100 per cent, compulsory pool will abolish speculation evils, and would place Canada in a position to effectively co-operate with similar bodies in other countries. Twenty-three European countries have taken drastic action to regulate grain marketing.
