FOOTEALL TEAM ON STRIKE
REFUSAL TO ACCEPT WAGE CUT LONDON, Feb. 20. The majority of the Leigh Rugby League Ohio's first team players went on strike last night, having) refused to accept the conditions of pay offered them by the directors. 'The directors, owing to trade depression and the poor response from'tin public, do not feel justified in paying the old inte of wages, and the players were asked to accept a. lower wage foi tho remainder of the season. As a result of the strike, the team to meet Bradford Northern at Leigh to-morrow will be composed principally >f second team players.
