The Building Regulations Committee is already engaged in the preparation of omorgecy regulations to he submitted to Parliament during the coming session, the Prime Minister stated this evening. It is intended. however, that the committee should continue its work in preparation of a more complete set of regulations for inclusion in the building by-laws to he applied throughout the Dominion. In response to representations by the profession that there wore not sufficient architects on the Building Regulations Co in mi t tee, the Govornment has appointed Mr. W, M. Page, architect, Wellington, as a member, The announcement of Mr. Page’s appointment was made last evening by the Prime Minister.
