DOG'S BOTTLE BREAKING ACT
The* milk thief o! the city of Ada, Ohio, lias been caught in the act-. Residents, for weeks, had tried to catch the person suspected of taking milk from steps and breaking the bottles on the pavement. Ralph Collins finally chanced to see a dog clamp its teeth on the top of a qudvt bottle of milk ami carry it carefully down a flight of outside steps to the pavement. Tin' animal lifted the bottle as high over its head ns it conld, smashed if lo the pavement, and then proceeded to lap up the milk. The dog's owner, .lames Pumphroy, taught the animal to cany packages, hut swears he never trained it in the bottle-breaking act.
