SOME INTERESTING PLAY FIRST DAY'S RESULTS Keen competition existed between the principal teams in the opening Karnes yesterday of the Peace Shield bowling tournament, which is to close to-morrow with the finals. The playing conditions yesterday left nothing to be desired, and she greens wore in splendid order. Brief opening addresses were given by Mr. B. Dudfleld, president of the centre, and Captain J.
