THE SCHNEIDER CUP
ITALY ENTERS CHALLENGE (Received December 31. 2 p.m.) N LONDON, Dec. 30. The Royal Aero Club to-day received from the Royal Aero Glob ot Italy official confirmation of the entry of three seaplanes for tho Schneider Trophy race. This represents a- challenge to Britain as holder, and renders certain a contest, in British Waters next September. The entries were accompanied, as required by the regulations; by a deposit, of 500 francs for each competing seaplane, and a bank guarantee for 600,000 francs.
No other entries had been received up to this evening. According to a recent agreement lietween tho various national aero clubs the time limit for entries expires at midnight on December 31.
