DOCTORS DISREGARDED
JOCKEY’S FRACTURED SPINE (Received Dee. 31, noont SYDNEY, Dec. 31. The Jockey, Carter, who was injured in the hurdle race on Saturday, left hospital on Monday against the doctor’s wishes. Yesterday X-ray photographs showed that his spine was fractured in three places. The doctors declare that had lie collapsed while walking round it would nave been the end.
