BOY DROWNED
SEIZURE WHILE BATHING (Pur Pross Association,) AUCKLAND, lust night. A drowning accident, resulting in the death of Robert Allan Sutherland, 10, of Grey Lynn, occurred in Cox’s Greek tidal estuary on tlio .western harbor front this afternoon. Numerous other young children were bathing in the vicinity at the time, the tide being on the ebb. It is not clear how the accident happened, but it is thought that the boy hud a seizure while in the water. A man who was bathing iu the vicinity noticed several children holding a lad with a view to keeping his head above water. lie took the boy ashore and tried resuscitation methods, but without success. A doctor was summoned, but further efforts at resummation also failed.
