DERVISH CONSPIRACY
REVOLT IN MENEMEN ALLEGED SAVAGERY CONST AN TI NOPLE, Dec. 29. Numerous arrests of Dervish sheikhs, including the Grand Chief, followed upon an attempted revolt in Mcnemen, in which five persons were killed. The Government discovered a widespread conspiracy among the former heads of Dervish monasteries, which were abolished- .by the Government some years ago.
Keirial Pasha has issued a manifesto deploring the savagery of the !)c* vishes of Menemeii; some of whom drank the blood of a slain officer, The arrests total 100.
