A NEW POSSIBILITY ITALO-GERMAN ALLIANCE LONDON, Dec. 29. The Times correspondent at Berlin says that a message from Signor Mussolini appeared on Christmas Day in ,the Nationalist headed “Per Tag.” Alongside was a message from Ilefr l Hughenberg, the Nationalist leader, who is the chief proprietor. Signor‘ ’Mussolini recalled his references to “avoiding war by revising treaties,” and stated that Italy would demand a revision, not from national egotism, hut principally for reasons-of justice and morality, which, alone, could form the basis of lasting peace.

Herr fiughenberg says that Mussolini’s statements bring Italy from the ring of powers allied against Germany in the war.
