AUSTRALIAN BILLS LONDON, Dee. 29. The Morning Post says credit movements for the new year include the maturity of £5,000,000 worth of Argentine Treasury bills, and Australian Commonwealth bills for a like amount. The latter were to be repaid on December 31. but nn offer is being made of new bills dated January 2, expiring on June 30 next. These are being offered on a discount basis of 5 per cent. PART OF FLOATING DEBT (Received Dec. -30, noon.) SYDNEY, Dec. 30. The discounting of Australian Treasury bills of £5,000,000 at 5 per cent., suggested by the Morning Rost, is for the repayment of a similar amount discounted in July at 4 per cent. This amount of £5,000,000 is a portion of the £38,000,000 of the Australian floating debt in London.
