FILM AGREEMENT

TO FIGHT U.S. MONOPOLY LONDON, Nov. 11. An agreement was signed yesterday to pool the selling resources of two ot the -leading! British film-producing companies, British International Pictures, Ltd., of which Air.- John Maxwell is chairman, and British Instructional Films, Ltd., of which Mr. A. E. Bundy is chairman. British International Pictures has a capital of £1,000,000, and, through Associated British Cinemas, controls some 120 theatres. The British Instructional Co.’s studios are at Welwyn. The immediate aim of the agreement is • to mobilise the forces of English films in an attack on the American monopoly in the Dominions.
