CAPETOWN, Nov. 7. W. P. Thom, who was acquitted for Illegally prospecting on the Namaqunlnnjl coast, declares that lie is taking 5000 diggers to prospect his claim on the coast. He says that the quantities of diamonds there are unbelievable until they are seen. He said that lie hr d seen the diggers wait for the tide to go out at night, and then search with torches in the crevices of the rocks, drawing out handfuls of gravel containing perfect diamonds.
