GATHERING AT MASTERTON (Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. Between 300 and (>l)0 delegates to the Presbyterian Bible Class Summer Conference are nsseinbled in Masterlon oil the occasion of the annual conference, which is extending to January 5. The delegates wore extended a civic welcome by the Mayor, Mr. T. Jordan, and yesterday was marked by numerous activities, .sectional meetings, business sessions, sports and addresses. The annual North versus South Island cricket match was won by North Island by eight wickets. Yesterjlay’s speakers were the Revs. It, M. Ryoburu and H. Davies, and Airs. Davies, and Ire Itevi. It. J. Howie and J. S. Laughton. '
