AID TO UNIONISM
PROVISION OF LABOR (Received Dec. 24. 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec* 24. The assistant Minister of Labor, Mr. Ely intends to abolish the labor bureau and institute a system whereby unions will supply labor to employers. Mr. Ely said he was one of those optimists who considered that the present depression was primarily a mental one. He looked forward to an early termination of the dole system.
