BUMPING OF SOVIET GOODS . 1: ; . di " *■ ' ‘1 LONDON. Nov. 20. The French Government has countered the Soviet dumping menace with measures designed to protect her trade. In |he Ministerial Council yesterday, President Dchmiergue signed a decree re-enacting the 1910 Customs law, which
gives the Government power to meet any deliberate nttempl to dump goods and cut prices. A hlaoiv list of Soviet goods has been drawn up. amt such goods may no longer be imported into France without a Ministry of Commerce permit, which will he given only on proof that the goods to he imported are sold at a reasonable price and will not undersell French and other goods of a similar nature and quality. Goods coining ..within the prohibition include cereals, meat, eggs, sugar, limber, linseed and gelatine.
