MEMORANDA
The third of the series of the Ivahutia Bowling Club’s euchre parties will be held in the Carroll pavilion this evening. A dainty supper will lie provided by the Indies. All friends are cordially invited to be present. Of more than ordinary interest is the announcement, of the intention of Messrs. Parnells’, Ltd., to close their well-known premises within the next few weeks. The old-established firm of hardware merchants has decided to offer its stock to the public at substantial reductions, in order to effect a quick clearance, and the quality of the stock carried by this firm should be so well known as to leave little room for elaboration of the announcement of their closing-down sale. In some instances, articles have been written down to levels below, those ruling in pre-war days, and the opportunity of seturing first-class tools and other materials at this clearing sale should ho welcomed by the general public. In every household there is felt a need for some particular tool or appliance such as Parnells’, Ltd., can supply, and the .sale, commencing to-mor-row, represents one of the finest chances yet offered to householders.
