SEQUEL TO COLLISION
ACTION AGAINST MOTORIST (Pnr Pr-sss Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Damages amounting to £1749 were claimed by Henry James Cornwall, a laborer, of Ashburton, who proceeded against Frank Fussnll, a cab proprietor, of Ashburton, in tin; Supreme Court to-day in a case arising out of a collision on the Alford Forest road on January 7. The plaintiff claimed that the accident was due to Fussell’s negligence, in that he was driving at an exeessivo speed, was on the wrong side of the road, did hot have his car under proper control, and, did not keep a proper lookout. As a result of the collision the plaintiff suffered severe internal injuries to his head and a fractured Jog. (Proceeding.)
