CHEERED TO THE ECHO
BRADMAN IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Nov, 5. When Don Bradman appeared in Sydney the police had the greatest difficulty in holding back the crowds gathered round his ear opposite his employers’ shop in George street. He was cheered to the echo and later waved to the people from the top of a verandah.
Don Bradman on arrival in Sydney was presented by General Motors with * . special model roadster of which only six have been made in Australia. The crowd which greeted Bradman, on his arrival in the city gave cheers, cooees and hurrahs as the popular idol rose from his seat in his car.
