DECLINE IN DEPOSITS SYDNEY, Nov. 5. The deposits in the 21 trading banks in Australia declined by £5,735,542 during the three months ended September 30. Advances by the banks in tin* same period were reduced by £8,097,559. The total assets of these banks at September 30 were £39(1,378,728, and the total liabilities within Australia were £330.086,791.
