Pavlova’s husband, Victor Dandre, has agreed to pay £2OO damages and costs to Miss Elsa D’Arcy, a member of a dancing troupe touring Straits Settlements. , " The action arose out of a kiss snatched from Miss I)’Arev by another dancer, Slavinsky, on the deck of a steamer between Rangoon and Penang. Miss D’Arcy alleged that Dandre aspersed her character, and did not allow her to perform. Pavlova gave evidence in broken she had the highest regard for Miss D’Arcy’s character.
