NEW AERIAL SERVICE (Per Press Association.) , " DUNEDIN, this day. A De Havilland four-seater plane, inaugurating the tri-weekly passenger ser- ♦ vice from Christchurch to Dunedin, reached Taieri aerodrome at 12.5 p.m. after a flight of 2 hours) 35 minutes. There was a head wind all the way, and dirty weather between Christchurch and Ashburton, but from, then on splendid conditions prevailed. > Squadron Leader McGregor stated that the route was ideal for the service on account of the plenitude of suitable landing places. The passengers were Mr. T. L. Hathaway, of Auckland, and two pressmen. The plan returns to Christchurch this afternoon.
