CLERK’S ALLEGED THEFT
CITY COUNCIL’S LOSS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. William Hobson Nelson, 51, a clerk in the traffic department of the Auckland City Council, was remanded in the Police Court to-day on a charge of stealing £192 from the council. The police said tho defalcations totalled over £3OO. .
