TO-NIGHT’S FEATURES
IYA: The Birkenhead Municipal Band will plav. The assisting artiste wiR include Miss Mvrft Monk (soprano). Mrs. B. del lard (contfillto), Mr. A. Gibbons Taylor (bass-baritone), and Mr. C'ynl To'wsev (pianist). 3YA: Wide diversity, ranging from folk songs to operatic, will be found in the programme. The quartets will comprise a Swabian and a Hampshire folk song. Two operatic duets will be sung. There will be numerous solos. The singers will lie Miss Corrie Aslin (soprano). Miss Duleie Mitchell (contralto). Mr. H. J. Francis (tenor), Mr J. Graham Young (baritone), and Mrs. K. Hartshorn (elocutionist). An instrumental programme will be provided by Miss Merle Miller (pianist), and the Christchurch Broadcasting Trio.
4YA: Mr. Arthur Gordon’s orchestra will play the latest dance “hits . and popular melodies. Novel items will be found in two vocal duels to bo presented by Miss E. J. Ritchie and Miss B. Ritchie. Mr. dames Paterson (Dunedin’s Harry Lauder) will give items, and Miss McGregor (elocutionist) will present two numbers. 2YA: Silent- day.
