SLACKNESS CONTINUES
THE PRODUCE MARKETS
(Per Press Association.) CHKiBtCIirBOH, this day. There arc no changes to report in regard to the local grain and produce market. The business passing is only of the off-session variety. Practically the only sales being made at present are of potatoes, for which there is a littte inquiry frorti the north. The price, however, has not recorded any substantial increase, and ranges from £1 10s. to £1 !5s a ton on trucks. The market, lias reached its dying stages now,- and there is neither the"volume of business nor the demand sufficient to result in any improvement until transactions next
season commence. All other sections of the ttimeet tire passing through a slack period.
