BLAZE IN AUCKLAND
FACTORY BADLY DAMAGED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Fire caused extensive damage to the upholstery, furniture, and woodwork factory of Messrs. Tattersfield, Ltd., Grey Lynn. Six men were working in (lie upholstery department on the top storey where the outbreak occurred, and were forced to make a hurried exit, while a youth was affected by tlit* fumes and had to be assisted from the building. The damage is estimated at between JJ3500 and T4OOO, and is covered by insurance.
