INTEREST IN AVIATION
CANTERBURY WOMAN
(Special to the Herald.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Lady Stewart, „ wife of Sir Bruce Stewart, of Pigeon Bay, made her first solo flight yesterday as a pupil of the Canterbury Aero Club. The club now includes among its members two women flyers, Lady Stewart and Miss 11. J. Fills, and one woman soloist, Miss Aroha Clifford. Sir Bruee Stewart, has already qualified for o pilot’s certificate.
