BOY SCOUTS' RIOT
INCIDENT IN NANKING COMMUNISTS BLAMED ■ " (Received April 24; noon.) SHANGHAI, April 23. Resulting from a disputei concerning the distribution of prizes at a grand rally of Boy Scouts from all provinces, lads from Tsinan and Hupen, numbering 300, rioted in Nanking. The riot was not quelled until the police got between the contending parlies. Thirty were injured, and three died in hospital. Communist influence is believed to be responsible for the outbreak.
