MYSTERIOUS ACCIDENT
WRECKED CAR FOUND NO SIGN OF OCCUPANTS (Pur Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, last night. Mystery surrounds ;i wrecked car foUnd on (lie road between Inglcwood and New Plymouth early this morning. It was lying against a telegraph pole and so very severely smashed thai it seems impossible that the driver or passenders could have escaped injury. Hut no trace of the driver or of any passenger has been found. There is an unconfirmed report that the car was stolen from Wnngnriui. It is tin expensive model registered in Wellington this month in the name of !?. i It. Smith, Wakey avenue. Karmi. Weilin'/lon. It is now almost a total \fiek.
