VALUABLE DISCOVERY
RELICS OF MOAS (Ter Press Association.) TAD!APR, this day. A valuable find of moa bones, egg shells, and young skeletons was made in rough country at the hack of Moawliangi) on Saturday hv Miss Tni BatIcy, Bernard Daws, and Charlie Logan. The relics were dug out of loose liipestone in a crevice off a tomo (not hole). The largest skeleton was complete, except. for one hone of a foe. The head is spado shaped, with a beak. Another discovery is that old Maoris remember a song of tbe moa, banded down from their forefathers. Old Maoris are collaborating to get tbe words and music into writing.
