£2,500,000 DIAMOND COMPANY
JOHANNESBURG, Feb. 19.
A development of great importance to tile world’s diamond industry was announced to-day, when a company with a capital of £2,500,000 was registered at Pretoria.
. Sir Ernest Oppenheimer, Mr. S. B. Joel, and other diamond leaders are interested in the flotation. No prospectus is issued and all the shares have been subscribed.
The company will carry oir the business of diamond merchants in all its branches. Mr. S. B. Joel, and Mr. Jack Joel appear as the nominees of Barnato’s.
