UNREST IN JAPAN
A SERIOUS SITUATION TRAMWAYMEN “GO SLOW” (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received April 16. 11 a.m.) TOKIO, April 15. The latest manifestation of Labor unrest in Tokio is that tramcar operators, consequent on bonus reductions, are reported to be going slow. Discontented union leaders are advocating sabotage. Meanwhile, officials have prepared an emergency mobilisation to carry on transport in the event of a strike of motormen. Police are guarding the car barns. The situation is serious.
