AGRICULTURAL BIAS
EDUCATION ORDERS CRITICISED (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The lack of practical application by the Education Department’s regulations of agricultural and manual bias in education was strongly commented upon by the Taranaki Education Board to-day. The manual committee recommended a. resolution that- the attention of the department bo drawn to the fact that ex-trainees from training colleges are inadequately prepared for the teaching of vocational .subjects, and suggesting that the proficiency examination include vocational training. The resolution was carried unanimously.
