The lack of practical application by the Education Department’s regulations of agricultural and manual bias in education was strongly commented upon by the Taranaki Education Board to-day. The manual committee recommended a. resolution that- the attention of the department bo drawn to the fact that ex-trainees from training colleges are inadequately prepared for the teaching of vocational .subjects, and suggesting that the proficiency examination include vocational training. The resolution was carried unanimously.
