A new arcade, 100 ft. in length, will shortly ho constructed in Strange’s Buildings, High street, Christchurch. The formation and metalling of the section of nine miles between Springs Junction and the Marina Hot Springs, which lias been carried out during the past two years as an unemployment relief work by the Public Works Department, is now'nearing completion, says the Nelson Mail.
