TRAGEDY AVERTED
RAILWAY DERAILMENT SYDNEY, April 14. A train accident occurred near Wauchope on the North Coast line early this morning, when an empty carriage plunged into a depression made by recent flood waters. The engine and three other carriages left the rails and were buried in the embankment on their sides. Nobody was injured. A well-filled mail train coming behind was warned just in time to prevent what probably would have been a terrible catastrophe.
