SAVED BY PARACHUTES
COLLISION IN MID-AIR (British Oflicial Wirnlpss.) Roe. 10 n.m, RUGBY, April 14. Two Royal Air Force pilots, FiyingOtlicer Percy and Flying-Ol'licor Brake, bad n remarkable escape when their machines, ' both travelling at high speed, came into collision 11000 ft. up, near Chichester. Both men made a safe descent by parachutes, ond .landed in a ploughed field. Flying-Officer Percy escaped apparently unscratched, but FlyingOflicer Brake had ;i broken arm and severe cuts to the face, received while extricating himself from his machine.
