For the past, year the police have been hauled by the murders of seven women whose mutilated bodies were found in wells at desert villages in Morocco. Ml the victims loni been strangled, and some bad the feet and ears cut off. Many months' search for a desert .lack tho I.ipper had been fruitless. Yesterday the police heard a woman'? moans from Hie bottom of a well, and rescued a hall'-st tangled woman who stated that her assailant was minus two lingers on the right hand. Villages were scoured and a native ex-sharpshooter named Mi loud Tims sen, who served in the war, was arrested, lie confessed when confronted by the half-strangled woman.
