HAWKE’S BAY BOARD Various matters concerning the schools in the Poverty But, Wairoa, and East Coast districts were dealt, with at tJie monthly meeting of the Hawke s Bay Education Board held in Napier, on J/ridav. In connection with the provision ol additional accommodation at Bartlett, s (Ivopua), the department advised that an additional grant had been approved, and the hoard’s remarks in reference to nonerection of tint shelter shed and the need fob eertaiu ground improvements had been brought under I,he hot ire of the public Works Department.—The letter was received.
