EAGER TO MEET AUSTRALIANS LONDON, April 2. "You make butter as well as you play cricket," was the verdict of Jack Ifobbs, the famous cricketer, ' after tasting samples of Australian butler in the room of Mr. T. Trundle, secretary to the Commonwealth at Australian House. The real object of the visit was to discuss Test prospects. He said he anticipated the most strenuous T<'sts in the history of the. game, and said that be. looked .forward keenly to seeing the young Australians. Referring to himself, ho said the trouble with his loft knee was completely disappearing under the new treatment. There was nothing to prevent him playing in his top form. "1 have no idea who the selectors will choose." he said, "but I am ready if they want me. I am in good form and good health, and I am ready to do my best, for England."
