INVESTIGATIONS URGED ECONOMIC CONFERENCE (Received April 12 noon.) LONDON, April 11. The. National Union of Manufacturers has prepared a statement, which it hopes will be included in the Imperial Economic. Conference agenda, urging an investigation of Anglo-Dominion economic relations and a survey of the Empire’s resources with a view to pooling and concentrating production in economic units in the places best suited for profitable production and cheap distribution. It suggests that representatives -be summoned from all parts of the Empire to draw up a scheme for the development of transportation, - migration. and tariffs suitable to each part of the Empire.
