DARING ROBBERY
OCCUPIED HOUSE ENTERED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Entering the home of Commander B. Hewitt, at Remucru. while it was occupied, an intruder stole a sum ot money in a handbag and it diamond ring, valued tit £45, from it bedroom beeupied by Lady Tuck, who was staying with Commander and Airs Hewitt. A handbag containing £2 Ids was also stolen from a room on the other side of the house. The robbery took place while Lady Tuck and Commander and Mrs Hewitt were in the drawingroom in the evening and was not discovered until Lady Tuck went to her bedroom about 9.30.
