Lord Dewar, who was not married, was the filth sou of the late John Dewar, of Berth, and was horn at Perth in January. 186'L He was educated at Perth and Fdirihurgh. Lord Dewar was a member of the London County Council for West MnryleItone from 1892 to 1895. and was M.P. (U.) for Si. George's. Tower Hamlets, for six years from 1900. lie was also sheriff of the ('itv of London from 1897 to 1898. and was Lieulenaul of (fie t'ilv. Ilia publication; included A Ramble?
