The appearance of Cooke. Roach, Le Quesne and MeCalinont, in the visiting team, added great interest to the match, which was watched by about 2000 spectators. After a good exhibition of the code for so early in the season victory went to Masterton by 15 points to 14. Cooke showed all bis former wizardry, and is in great form for the approaching season.
