Roberts and Co, have lo report as follows on their sale held at Wellington yesterday : -"There was a combined offering of bOCO bales and a large attendance of buyers. Some of the. wool was shown in extremely seedy condition, but our offering was distinctly above the general average for so late a sale. Competition was exceptionally keen, emanating principally from Continental seel ions, Bradford being comparatively quiet. Compared with the last- Wellington sale, prices for fleece ruled fully Id to I,ld higher, pieces and bellies hi to lid, while lambs sold at about par.
