P.E. SEASON OPENS MIXED PLAY TO-MORROW Poverty Hay golfers will play their first tournament of the 1930 season tomorrow afternoon, when the official opening takes place on the Awapuui links. Preparations for the opening day have been in hand for some tune, and members, some of whom have already noted the changes, will see to-morrow tjie various improvements made to the greens and fairways during the summer. The course is in splendid order, and to-morrow's function should prove thoroughly successful providing the weather conditions are satisfactory. To-morrow's play will consist of a Canadian foursome, for which good entries have been received. The draw and handicaps have been announced as under : Miss M. Bull and G.
