BRITAIN TO AUSTRALIA MELBOURNE, April 10. It is regarded as probable, that a wieeless telephone service between Britain and Sydney will be inaugurated at the end of the present month. £2 A MINUTE AUSTRALIAN RADIOPHONE LONDON, April 2. it is understood that the Post Office proposes to commence the Beam telephone service to Australia with a charge of £6 for three minutes', conversation, but this will probably be reduced early in 1931. It is expected that the service will be available for about six hours a day at the beginning, increasing slightly during the summer and later reducing to a few hours.
