INTERNATIONAL CONCERT The first of the six international concerts promoted by Miss Muriel .Smith, and .\\\: J. Carrington-Wellby will be given in the ("ity Hall to-night, commencing at 8 o'clock. The initial programme will consist of selections limn the Jiuglish *>mposers, covering a period of 400 years, from I'urrell to the present day. The artists appearing have all ■been trained for concert platform work, and have heen selected from the best talent available. They include Miss .Muriel Smith, pianist, Mrs. Frank Allld, mezzo-soprano, Miss Dbreen Hunt, soprano, Mr. Henri deUsae. violinist, Mr. Kay Nicholson, tenor, and Mr. .1. Carimgfoii Weill.v, hasso-eaulante. Mr. Stan. Kingston, and Mr. 11. A. A special feature is | )Cl ng made of the stage decorations, the furnishing each night being in accordance with the programme given. To night the decorations will he Jacobean, and this work is in the hands of Messrs. (J randy and Sheniian. CAMBRIDGE PLAYERS On Monday and Tuesday next the Cambridge English Hraniatic Players will present at tin* Opera House a programme of dramatic offerings, the principal attraction being the two-act murder drama, "The Murder at Grey Ladies," by b\ R. Casey and .1. 11. Irallertnn. The company also offers 12 vaudeville numbers, including an appearance by Charles Valentine, ventriloquist j B. W. Cunningham, operatic baritone; Rene and Yvonne, speciality dancers, and Gabrielle Fraser, pianist.
